Physics 105: Design and Making for All
Physics 105: Design and Making for All taught design and engineering principles using Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D printing and laser-cutting. Taught in Fall 2018, this was Bryn Mawr College's first ever product design or engineering course.
I was hired during summer 2018 to design the course curriculum for this class, working for the head of the Bryn Mawr Physics department and professor of the course, Professor Xuemei May Cheng. I was then the teaching assistant for the course in Fall 2018.
I created video and written tutorials for Autodesk Fusion 360, the 3D printers, and the laser-cutter. I also taught in-person in class and during TA hours.
I was in charge of training students on the equipment and how to use Fusion 360. I taught principles of design and how to use different materials. I facilitated both solo and group work for the students.
